Instead my hero comes in a refrigerated van with supermarket branding

I expected a soundtrack of heavy metal played on scrap
Instead I listen to musicians live streaming from their kitchen
This is not the apocalypse I ordered
I expected zombies and fighting for my life
Instead I video call with friends to try to break the boredom
This is not the apocalypse I ordered
I expected dramatic explosions and a big dramatic ending
Instead I get a world that's not ending but hope that it's changing.
